It is now time to give an explanation as to why I have been gone for over a year.
A short version starts with me being laid off from Pursuit Aerospace. on June 22, 2023. How that went down I have already talked about.
I took a couple of weeks off after being laid off to just relax and take a look at my life and where I wanted to go or do for the next year until I retired. What I did not know is my health already started going downhill. I became depressed. I drank more than I should have and ended up in the hospital in Wichita, Kansas and spent a few weeks there. Carrie and I drove back to Thomasville, GA and I then spent time alone at the apartment. I drank a little bit more. I did not have my medications because I did not have insurance. My health started to spiral down again. I ended up in the hospital for another three weeks beginning May 25. I am out now and I’m doing well. Today is August 19th, , 2024.
That concludes the short version. For the next couple of weeks, I will be detailing out what happened during the last year.
